All our jewelry is made out of stainless steel and uses 18k gold using the PVD method, it is more durable and more resistant to oxidation and rust. The PVD coating allows our pieces to be water and sweat resistan. Perfect for everyday use and best for those with sensitive skin — it won’t turn your skin green!!!

What is PVD?
Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) is an environmentally friendly coating process where the coating bonds with the base metal. In this case, with our stainless steel, which produces jewelry that has coating that lasts longer than standard gold plating. This process doesn’t produce any pollutants or toxic residues, making it clean and safe.

To prolong the life our your pieces, avoid direct contact with products that may contain abrasive chemicals like perfume, creams and detergents. Avoid jewelry cleansers, instead gently wash with warm soapy water and wipe dry with a soft cloth after each wear. Store your jewelry in the provided pouch and jewelry box.

If your Sunspell jewelry tarnish within a year, we will happily replace it or refund you in a form of store credit. Over time, the golden tone may darken slightly but it should not fade. Scratches and breakages are not covered by the warranty.
